Ingredients

- 3–5 lbs chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus mix
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 5–10 pepperoncini peppers
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus mix evenly over the roast.
- Add the butter on top, and place the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
- Pour in the beef broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is fork‑tender.
Notes
- For extra heat
- add a sliced jalapeño. Leftovers work great in sandwiches or tacos.
